GREEK INFANTRY FIRINGS
On the 19th of September 2018, live firings with various infantry weapon systems (FAGOT, 23 mm twin gun, machine guns, mortars 60 mm and 81 mm) were executed in NAMFI, as part of the Operational Trainings from the units of the 5th Infantry Brigade (V Division of Crete) Area of Responsibility.

ITALIAN STINGER FIRINGS ΑΤ NAMFI 27th WEEK 2018
On Wednesday 4 of July 2018, Italian Army Air Defense Artillery Units conducted training firings in NAMFI. The firings were executed with the Stinger weapon system (MANPAD) against teleguided aerial targets provided by the Italian Army. 27 crews took part in this activity, successfully engaging the targets and firing a total of 27 Stinger missiles with a perfect success rate. The firings was attended by high ranked Italian Army’s Officers.

On Friday, June 29th 2018, within the context of the foreign policy trip program of the American Hellenic Institute, ten (10) students from various universities around USA visited NAMFI.
DELEGATION OF EMMANUEL COLLEGE OF BOSTON VISITS NAMFI
On Thursday, June 28th 2018, within the context of their educational program, fifteen (15) students of the Emmanuel College of Boston (USA), of the curriculum “Eastern Mediterranean Security studies 2018”, escorted by their Professor, Mr. Petros Vamvakas, visited NAMFI.
