Target Services are provided by private Companies contracted directly from NAMFI’s User Countries.

NORTHROP, DORNIER – METEOR, MEGGIT EADS, EADS 3 SIGMA and  STAR are the companies that have provided target drone services at NAMFI during the last 30 years, using target drones of various capabilities.

The target drones intended for Weapon Systems that have a firing range between 3 and 50 Km from the missile launching area, are launched from the permanent targets’ area at Pervolitsa. The facilities at this area can be used by the target Companies for the storage and preparation of the targets as well as for the execution of the mission and the post flight maintenance.

Pervolitsa provides the following facilities:

• Full electricity provision including generators and back-up power units.
• Parachute lab
• Telephone (Switchboard / Exchange / Switelly Canal)
• Compressor units and distribution net starting jet engines.
• Workshops
• Hangars
• Warehouses
• Explosives storage buildings
• Engine jet test area
• Command building
• Target control building etc

The above facilities are available to NAMFI’s Contract Companies on a rent basis.

In addition, a part of the missile launching area is used temporarily by the private target services Companies for firing Air Defense Systems of very short range.

The launching of targets and the storage of the equipment of the private companies is possible due to the disposal of the necessary installations from NAMFI.
