Tactical Firings Evaluations are conducted, on behalf of SHAPE, by  the Tactical Firing Evaluation (TFE) section in accordance with ACE Directive 80-2 And the NAMFI SOP for Tactical Firing part II – Conduct for Tactical Firing either as a part of NATO Tactical Evaluation Program or, as part of individual Tactical Firing Programs. The various Weapon Systems are transported to Crete (Airport – Harbor) by care / responsibility of the Countries which will conduct the firings and are initially forwarded to storage areas by NAMFI’s support.

The tactical Firing Evaluation is divided into three faces:

• Re-deployment

Overall Score

Total score is recorded, which is based on the aforementioned partial scores.

The results of the evaluated items and the overall score for the Tactical Firing Evaluation, are reported by TFE to the respective ACO/CC AIR and the Nation concerned.

Tactical Firing Evaluation Section (TFE Section)

Tactical Firing Evaluation Section (TFE) is manned by NAMFI’s User Nations Personnel.

During the Evaluation of the Tactical Firings, qualified NATO Evaluators from different countries (depending on each unit’s strength and kind of firing), assist / support the permanently assigned personnel of TFE Section.
