On the 16th of November 2017, live firings with various weapon systems (anti aircraft 23mm twin gun, machine gun 0,50mm, mortars 60mm, 81mm, 106mm) were executed in NAMFI, as part of the Operational Training from the units of the 5th Infantry Brigade (V Division of Crete) Area of Responsibility.
The firings were successfully executed following all safety procedures and were observed by the Commander of the Supreme Islands Military Command, the Commander of the 5th Infantry Brigade, the Commander of the Infantry Cadets School and other officers of the Hellenic Army.
