VISIT OF EUCOM DELEGATION TO NAMFI
On Thursday the 8th of December 2016 a delegation of US EUCOM staff personnel headed by Ambassador Susan M. Elliott, Civilian Deputy to the EUCOM Commander and Foreign Policy Advisor, visited NAMFI.
CELEBRATION CEREMONY OF ST. BARBARA
On Sunday the 4th of December 2016 NAMFI celebrated the Celebration Ceremony of St. Brbara, Patroness Saint of Artillery. The participants were the Bishops of the church of Chania and delegation from the Hellenic Armed Forces and the municipality from the region of Chania.
HELLENIC FIELD ARTILLERY FIRINGS
From 15 to 16 November 2016, in the context of operational training, Hellenic Field Artillery Units conducted firings at NAMFI with MLRS, PzH 2000GR and Μ109Α3GEA2 weapon systems.
DUTCH AMRAAM – FENEK FIRING WEEK 42
On the 20th of October 2016, in the context of NLD GBAD Units tactical evaluation exercise, AMRAAM and FENNEK (STINGER) weapon systems firings were executed in NAMFI.
GERMAN – NETHERLANDS PATRIOT FIRINGS WEEK (40/ 2016)
From the 4th to the 6th of October 2016 Germany and the Netherlands, with the participation of USA personnel, executed firings in NAMFI with the anti-aircraft medium range weapon system PATRIOT, in the context of the APOLLO project.
VOLUNTEERING BLOOD DONATION
On Thursday the 30th of September 2016, military and civilian personnel of NAMFI carried out volunteering blood donation at NAMFI’s facilities, in cooperation with General Hospital of Chania.

THE RELIGIOUS CELEBRATION OF “METAMORFOSI TOU SOTIROS”
On Friday the 5th of August 2016, the religious celebration of “Metamorfosi tou Sotiros” took place at the church, in NAMFI’s Launching Area
with the participation of the Bishop of the Church of Chania, NAMFI’s personnel and several guests from the local society of Chania. After the celebration was served out a brunch to the participants.
VISIT OF DELEGATION OF US TARGET COMPANY TMO TO NAMFI
From the 1st until the 3rd of August 2016, a delegation of US Target Company (TMO), headed by Col Richard Haggerty, visited NAMFI.
The visit took place in the context of the target services during the upcoming firings in NAMFI.
