From May 19 to 23, 2025, training live-fire exercises using ASRAD/MANPAD (STINGER) and OSA-AK anti-aircraft weapon systems were conducted at the NAMFI’s range area by the Hellenic Armed Forces. The exercises were observed by Major General Emmanouil Chatzis, Deputy Commander of the Higher Military Command of Interior and Islands, Brigadier General Pavlos Andrikopoulos, Director of the Artillery Directorate of the Hellenic Army General Staff and Colonel (Artillery) Charalampos Karoutsos, Commander of the Artillery Directorate of the Higher Military Command of Interior and Islands, as well as representatives from HQ AIRCOM (Ramstein Airbase).
