The religious celebration of “METAMORPHOSIS SOTIROS” and Annual Memorial Ceremony For the Rememberance of The Loss of The Hellenic Air Force Personnel

On Thursday the 06th August 2025, the religious celebration of “Metamorphosis Sotiros” took place at the homonymous church in NAMFI’s Launching Area. Afterwards, an annual memorial ceremony was held for the fallen aviators, Lieutenant Colonel Athanasios Bourolias (May 29, 1979), Lieutenant Antonios Sifakis (May 29, 1979) and Lieutenant Dimitrios Mardiki (April 05, 1985), who lost their lives while on duty, for the benefit of NAMFI. The ceremony was attended by relatives of the deceased, representatives of the local military authorities, as well as NAMFI’s personnel.
