The NAMFI hosted a naval exercise by the Netherlands Navy in its maritime area on 20-21 of April 2026.
The Dutch frigate HNLMS DE RUYTER successfully carried out missile firings using surface-to-air missiles and its Close-in Weapon System (CIWS) and against aerial targets, as well as gunfire exercises against surface targets.
