VISIT OF THE COMMANDER OF THE 11TH AIR ASSAULT BRIGADE OF THE ROYAL NETHERLANDS ARMY AT NATO MISSILE FIRING INSTALLATION (NAMFI)

On Monday 14^th of September 2026, the Commander of the 11th Air Assault Brigade of the Royal Netherlands Army, Brigadier General Pieter GRIJPSTRA, accompanied by members of his staff, visited NAMFI in the framework of the Brigade’s live-firing and training activities.

The delegation was welcomed by the Commander of NAMFI, Major General Nikolaos Dimitrakos.

During the meeting, matters of mutual interest were discussed, as well as current issues concerning the effective and optimal use-utilization of NAMFI by the Armed Forces of the Netherlands.

 The Netherlands has been a longstanding User Nation of NAMFI since 1964, reflecting the enduring and constructive cooperation between the two countries and highlighting their continued commitment to strengthening bilateral defence cooperation.
