On Friday, June 29th 2018, within the context of the foreign policy trip program of the American Hellenic Institute, ten (10) students from various universities around USA visited NAMFI.
DELEGATION OF EMMANUEL COLLEGE OF BOSTON VISITS NAMFI
On Thursday, June 28th 2018, within the context of their educational program, fifteen (15) students of the Emmanuel College of Boston (USA), of the curriculum “Eastern Mediterranean Security studies 2018”, escorted by their Professor, Mr. Petros Vamvakas, visited NAMFI.
TACTICAL VOLUNTARY BLOOD DONATION
In the frame of tactical voluntary blood donation of the Hellenic Armed Forces, on Thursday 28 of May 2018, took place the second semester 2018 blood donation at NAMFI’s medical facilities.
RELIABILITY STINGER FIRING CONDUCTED BY NATO SUPPORT PROCUREMENT AGENCY (NSPA) AT NAMFI
From 13 June 18 until 21 of June 18 NATO SUPPORT PROCUREMENT AGENCY (NSPA) conducted at NAMFI Reliability STINGER firings. The firings were executed against air teleguided drones and were considered very successful. The firings were attended by the Stinger Support Partnership Committee whose meeting took place at NAMFI from 19th to 21th June 2018.
57TH STINGER SPC (SUPPORT PARTNERSHIP COMMITTEE) CONFERENCE AT NAMFI
The 57th STINGER SPC (Support Partnership Committee) conference took place at the NAMFI facilities, from 19 to 21 June 2018. NAMFI coordinated all arrangements for this meeting in close cooperation with representatives from NSPA (NATO Support and Procurement Agency). During the STINGER SPC meeting NAMFI provided a detailed presentation concerning their organization and range capabilities. The STINGER SPC conference was concluded with success. The Commander of NAMFI, Brigadier General Kleanthis KARATSIN hosted a dinner for the members of the committee.
DEPUTY CHIEF OF HELLENIC NATIONAL DEFENSE GENERAL STAFF VISITS NAMFI
On Monday, June 18th 2018, along his other obligations, the Deputy Chief of the Hellenic National Defense General Staff (HNDGS) Lieutenant General Mr. Floros Konstantinos visited NAMFI.
PARTICIPATION OF NAMFI AT THE INTERNATIONAL DEFENSE EXHIBITION EUROSATORY 2018
NAMFI participated at the International Defense Exhibition “EUROSATORY 2018” (Paris, 11- 15 June 2018) with its own pavilion (Hall 5A, ED 790) and a delegation of Staff Officers headed by its Commander Brigadier General Kleanthis Karatsin.
THE SENIOR STUDENTS OF THE HELLENIC AIR FORCE ACADEMY VISIT NAMFI
On Wednesday 06th of June 2018 the students of the senior, fourth year of the Hellenic Air Force Academy, visited the Cinema of the Cantonment Area of NAMFI, where they were given a small presentation about NAMFI.
GRC FIRINGS WITH STINGER WEAPON SYSTEM WEEK 23/ 2018
On 5th of June 2018 firings with STINGER weapon system were executed in NAMFI, by Units of Hellenic Army, in parallel with the certification of BATS targets. The firings were considered very successful and were attended by the Commander of the Supreme Military Command of the Interior and Islands and the Director of Artillery Directorate.
MEMORIAL CEREMONY FOR THE REMEMBERANCE OF THE LOSS OF THE HELLENIC AIR FORCE PERSONNEL AT NAMFI
On Friday, May 25th 2018,a memorial ceremony was held at NAMFI’s Launching Area, in memory of the Hellenic Air Force personnel Lieutenant Colonel Bourolias Athanasios, 2nd Lieutenant Mardikis Dimitrios and Warrant Officer Sifakis Antonios, who died on duty for the benefit of NAMFI.
