On Friday 26 of June 2026, the Defence Attaché of Egypt in Athens, Staff Colonel Amr Rashad, paid a courtesy visit to the NATO Missile Firing Installation (NAMFI), Crete.
The Defence Attaché was welcomed by the Deputy Commander of NAMFI, Colonel (Artillery) Emmanouil Liodakis, who briefed him on the mission, modern infrastructure, and operational capabilities of the Missile Firing Installation. They also discussed matters of mutual interest and the prospects for future cooperation.
