Courtesy Visit of the New UK Defence Liaison Officer to the Commander of NAMFI

Commander Thomas Bowler (UK,RN), conducted a courtesy visit on the Commander of the NATO Missile Firing Installation (NAMFI) on Wednesday, 04 February 2026, in the context of the handover of his duties as the UK Defence Liaison Officer at Souda Bay Naval Base, accompanied by the UK Defence Attaché, Captain Sam Law RN, the Head of the Defence Section, Mrs Johanne Harrison, as well as the incoming UK Defence Liaison Officer, Commander Jason Douglas RN. During the visit, matters of mutual interest were discussed, and the importance of maintaining close, effective and constructive cooperation was reaffirmed.
