Between 20 and 24 October 2025, the exercise “Spartan Arrow 25” was conducted by the German Armed Forces at the NΑΤΟ Missile Firing Installation (NAMFI). During the exercise, anti-aircraft firings of the “Patriot” and “Stinger” weapon systems were carried out.

Members of the Permanent Delegation of the North Atlantic Council also had the opportunity to attend the live-fire exercise during their visit to the Crete Firing Range on 22 October 2025.

The “Patriot” weapon system conducted anti-aircraft firings against aerial remotely controlled targets and ballistic missiles. The targets, provided by private companies, simulated realistic aerial threats by executing complex engagement scenarios.

The exercise was conducted within the framework of a NATO evaluation of the German Forces, which was supported by the multinational Evaluation Team of the NAMFI.
