Greek Infantry Firings of the 5th Airborne Brigade and the 44th Military Command

As part of the operational training and readiness of the Units of the 5th Airborne Brigade and the 44 Military Command, on Thursday, 20 November 2025, curved- and direct-trajectory weapon firing was conducted against a floating target. The firings were carried out using A-T FAGOT, RHEINMETALL RH-202, BARRET, and 60 mm and 81 mm mortars.

The firings were observed by the Commander of NAMFI, Major General Stergios Kazakis, the Commander of the 5th Airborne Brigade, Brigadier General Nikolaos Kostakis, and the Commander of the 44th Military Command “TALOS” – SEAP, Brigadier General Theodoros Drakopoulos.
