From Monday Μay 04, to Thursday May 07, live-fire training exercises involving guided missiles were conducted by the Hellenic Armed Forces at the facilities of the NATO Missile Firing Installation Crete (NAMFI), using anti-aircraft weapon systems of the ASRAD/MANPAD (STINGER), OSA-AK, and HAWK types, in accordance with the prescribed safety standards maintained by NAMFI.

The participating units were trained and evaluated, while the exercises were observed by the Commander of NAMFI, Major General Nikolaos Dimitrakos, the Director of the Artillery Directorate of the Hellenic Army General Staff, Brigadier General Dimitrios Tagkalakis, as well as other Officers and NCOs off the Hellenic Army and Hellenic Air Force.
