Pastoral Visit of the Director of Military Chaplains of the HNDGS to the NAMFI

Within the framework of personnel welfare for the Armed Forces, a pastoral visit was conducted by the Director of Military Chaplains of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS), Archpriest Brigadier General Nektarios Markakis, to the NAMFI.

During the visit, the Director met with the Commander of NAMFI, who briefed him on the mission, operation, and operational capabilities of the NAMFI. He also had the opportunity to engage with personnel, conveying messages of spiritual support, moral encouragement, and cohesion. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of faith, values, and the mission of Armed Forces personnel in today’s challenging environment.

The visit concluded in a particularly warm atmosphere, reaffirming the essential role of pastoral care in strengthening morale and the operational readiness of personnel.
