Voluntary Blood Donation Drive Conducted at NAMFI

The 2^nd voluntary blood donation drive of 2026 was held at the NATO Missile Firing Installation (NAMFI) on Wednesday, 17 June 2026, as part of the Hellenic Armed Forces’ social outreach initiatives and their ongoing commitment to supporting the local community.

The blood donation drive was organized in cooperation with the Blood Donation Department of Chania General Hospital “Agios Georgios”.

The active participation of NAMFI personnel once again demonstrated the importance of collective contribution to initiatives with a meaningful social impact.

The blood units collected will be used by the Hospital’s Blood Donation Department to assist meeting the transfusion needs of patients across the wider Chania region.
